back to back successful stalks and blogs, how exciting.
This one also takes place at the Hard Rock Rocksino, this must be the lucky spot.
The ladies of En Vogue were on our STALKtober calendar but it was a last minuet decision to actually go to the concert.
Shari was able to get us cheap tickets off of Groupon so we decided to have a little fun and go.
We met our friend Fred up there, it had almost been 2 years since we last saw him which was actually the first time we met him the last time En Vogue was here.
He had an extra bracelet to get backstage after the concert and there were 2 of us, so he said if he could snag another one he’d let us know and we’d all be able to go back together.
The show was about to start so we parted ways and went into our own sections and waited.
The ladies came out Rockin’ and kept it going till the very end, the energy inside the place was crazy and we had a good time.
When it ended Shari and I walked over to where Fred was, security had everyone with green wrist bands line up against the wall and when they started to escort them in we were asked to leave the area.
I had told the one security guard that we had a friend inside that was going to try and get an extra wrist band so we could go in.
He introduced himself as Josh and to stay close by, if he came out we can ask for him and he will take us back.
Shari and I were outside the main theater, waiting in the casino part starting to panic.
There were only a handful of people that went back and we did not know how long they were going to be back there.
WE HAD TO MAKE A DECISION
We could wait here and hopefully Fred would get the ok to bring us back but if he couldn’t then we waited inside and missed them coming out the back.
Or , we could just go out back and catch them as they got in their ride. Shari felt strongly about going outside and waiting, this way we knew for sure we would catch them.
So panic set in and we left the casino and walked outside to the back and waited for them to come out.
WAITING OUTSIDE
It was just the two of us there, like we thought, and the get away van was still there so we felt good about this.
Two security guards came out and put us in charge of the of the line, he said that if we are nice the ladies might sign but it’s totally up to them.
We agreed, of course this wasn’t our first rodeo.
While we were talking to the guards Fred sent a message and told us to get back there. We panicked…again and didn’t know what to do, we figured they would not let us back inside the hall.
Fred then replied with HURRY, I gave Shari the look and we took off running back to the place we just left.
Shari who had heels on was lagging behind, lol. It was funny.
We get back inside the building and could see Fred’s head peeking out from behind the main doors, he sees us and motions for us.
We get inside and Fred takes off running, I’m like shit, this is going down. Josh looked at us and was like “I told you to stay close”, literally 2 minutes after we left, Fred came out looking for us while we were outside freezing in the dark parking lot.
Josh walked us back through the double doors to the lobby and then into the theater and the secret backstage door where we walked down a hall that had the smell of delicious foods.
Fred peeked his head out of the first door on the left and waved us in, we looked like we didn’t belong (haha) but we made it work.
The room was small and filled with people sporting green wrist bands, Fred walked over and started gathering the ladies from En Vogue so we could meet and get a photo.
At this time they were wrapping up, Terry told one of the guys (maybe manager or personal body guard) that we were the last in the group and then they were leaving.
Shari and I stood there, we made idol chit chat with Cindy, I told her how we had a lot of fun and she said us fans are the ones that give them energy and make it happen.
During this Rhona came over to get in with the group picture and make it complete, the ladies were all very nice and patient.
We got our picture taken and while they were trying to get the girls out Cindy signed my ticket stub real quick before she disappeared out the door.

As we were leaving another security guard was like, glad we found you.
I guess we had a search party looking for us, good times.
We said our goodbyes to Fred and then got in our car and went home.

Thanks to the staff at the Hard Rock Rocksino who helped us get back stage and how polite and nice they were as we went running around like lunatics.
